Dear Prospective Friend of the Extension Foundation:

During 2009, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County (CCEMC) helped thousands of Monroe County adults and youth through its Agricultural, Nutritional, Horticultural and 4-H Youth Development Programs, as well as the ever-popular Master Gardener Volunteer and 4-H Programs.

Programs, such as 4-H's "learn-by-doing" projects, activities and camps; Horticulture's Diagnostic Lab and Master Gardener Volunteer Help Line; Nutrition's nutrition classes; and the Agricultural teams' economic development and production and marketing expertise, have been meeting the needs of Monroe County residents since 1913.

We'd like to invite you to join us in our effort to continue fulfilling our mission by becoming a Friend of the Extension Foundation. By joining and becoming a Friend, you'll not only reap the benefits of the various giving levels, but also support CCEMC programming.

CCEMC continues to enhance its programming to address current educational needs, as well as emerging community needs. These emerging needs include an abundant and safe food supply, profitable plant and animal production systems, youth and family development, environmental stewardship, and improved community health, as well as addressing the effects the economic crisis is having in our area.

In the past and in its collective vision for the future, CCEMC brings many educational opportunities to Monroe County residents.
