Northwest Dairy, Livestock and Fieldcrops Team

Through educational programs and other teaching opportunities, the NWNY Team seeks
to build producers’ capacities to: Enhance the sustainability of their businesses. Enhance profitability and other aspects of economic performance of their businesses. Practice environmental stewardship. Enhance employee well-being and satisfaction. Provide safe, healthy agricultural products in ways that are safe to farm owners and their families, farm employees and their families, and neighbors. Cornell Vegetable Program

The Cornell Vegetable Program is one of the premier regional agricultural Cornell Cooperative Extension programs in New York, serving a large multi-county region in the Central and Western part of the state, including Monroe county. The team’s Specialists work together with Cornell faculty and extension educators statewide to address the issues that impact the industry. The area Vegetable Program provides educational programs and information to growers, processors and agri-business professionals, arming them with the knowledge to profitably produce and market safe and healthful vegetable crops, contributing to the viability of farms and the economic well being of New York State.
